 Smokin' Silver Apache was rescued from a Kill pen in Texas. The exhausting ordeal resulted in an extremely malnourished, exhausted and scared soul. We were very concerned if he would respond to veterinary and farrier care. However, this beautiful gentle giant is recovering nicely due to the wonderful care he receives from the amazing staff and volunteers at Wild Horse Ranch. At this time we are cautiously optimistic about his recovery.   

He's still sensitive and a bit reactive to quick movements and his surroundings. Apache has suffered previous leg injuries but after vet consultation it won't stop him from being a great pleasure horse. That being said, Apache is sweet, mild mannered and gorgeous horse that just wants to be loved!
